CROWS ON PARADE
Crow Island’s “Crows on Parade” is a beloved tradition for our 4th graders and we are creating a new way to celebrate in our current context! We would like to create some fun on Wednesday, June 3rd as a capstone event.
- Children can display their crows in a clearly visible location on their front yards on June 3rd morning (by ~9am).
- 4th grade families will be assigned times throughout the day (to minimize the chance of gathering and maximize social distancing) to go out and search for crows, with some scavenger games as well!
- We will provide a generalized map (no child/family names, no street numbers) to indicate where crows can be found.
- We are working on details on all of the above and will share those in the coming days.
RESPONSE REQUESTED: We would like to give you the opportunity to let us know if you would like your house included in the map, or if you would prefer to opt out from having a crow posted at your address on the map. Please CLICK HERE to indicate accordingly.

Field Day is an eagerly anticipated end-of-the-year tradition at Crow Island. Students in grades 1-4 participate in a variety of fun outdoor games and activities. Each class has its own “team color” and works as a team to earn points. It’s a great day for students, teachers, and parent volunteers!
Due to COVID-19, a virtual version of this annual tradition will be embedded in the June 1 Grey Day focused on Health and Wellness.more >>
The Crow Island Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a volunteer organization that oversees programs at our school. We are looking ahead to the upcoming 2020 – 2021 school year and, despite these uncertain times, we are hopeful that all events next school year take place and we are planning accordingly. Therefore, we are recruiting for open chair and committee positions for the 2020 – 2021 school year.
